Support/Resident Engineer

We are seeking highly motivated and technically skilled Support/Resident Engineers to join our team in the AVIT (Audio visual and Information Technology) industry. As a Support/Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving customer issues related to audio visual systems and solutions.

This role is open to both freshers and candidates with 1-2 years of experience in the AVIT industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to audio visual systems, including equipment, software, and network connectivity.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with customers professionally, understand their technical needs and challenges, and provide appropriate solutions. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and accurate responses to their inquiries and concerns.
  • System Installation and Configuration: Assist in the installation, setup, and configuration of audio visual systems, including displays, projectors, audio equipment, video conferencing systems, and control interfaces. Ensure proper integration and functionality of all components.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of audio visual systems to ensure proper performance and functionality. Identify and resolve any issues or defects, ensuring that systems meet quality standards before deployment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of customer interactions, support tickets, and solutions provided. Prepare reports and communicate findings to the relevant teams to improve product reliability and customer experience.
  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Product Development, to address customer needs and provide feedback for product improvements. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to enhance the overall technical capabilities of the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. Freshers are welcome to apply.
  • For candidates with 1-2 years of experience, prior experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting in the AVIT industry is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of audio visual systems, including displays, projectors, audio equipment, video conferencing systems, and control interfaces.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and configurations relevant to AVIT systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
